Director: Stefan Janski - Lighting designer: Ace McCarron
SET AND COSTUME DESIGNER: DAVID COCKAYNE

A storm-strewn, raked stage with the minimum of architectural elements for this fateful romatic story. The floor fissures for the entrance of the Countess' ghost, and remains broken. A chandelier falls to create a gaming table. The whole is watched over by a row of engraved female prisoners. The period moved from the late 18th century to the late 19th century.
