"The Winter's Tale" by William Shakespeare

This production was inspired by the ornate, turn-of-the-century mirrored cabaret/circus tent which was chosen as its venue. Set in a Middle-European late nineteenth century court the production had a fairytale quality, emphasising the fantastical and mythical elements of The Winter's Tale. It was performed in the round as if by a troupe of travelling players in their own tent and the set was designed to feel as if it was an original part of this tent.
